Tools for Literature-based Discovery

• Arrowsmith
  UIC-based site for searching links between two literatures within Medline. Also contains the Author-ity tool for disambiguating authors on scientific papers, and the Anne O'Tate tool for summarizing a results of a PubMed query.
• Don Swanson's Arrowsmith site
  non-mirror site that is similar, but not identical, to the UIC site. Don's site currently has the capability of conducting open ended (one node) Arrowsmith searches, whereas the UIC site does not. There are also differences in the way that PubMed searches are inputted, and in the way that output B-terms are filtered, ranked and displayed.
• BITOLA
  site maintained by Dimitar Hristovski, which helps biomedical researchers make new discoveries by discovering potentially new relations between biomedical concepts. 
• Manjal
  site maintained by Padmini Srinivasan

  site dedicated to caloric restriction and nutritional aspects in aging.
